Eligibility and Requirements

Must be a 2026 High School Graduate
Must reside in Houston, Texas or surrounding areas
Must have been accepted to a University/College and plans to
attend school Fall 2025
Must have a minimum GPA of 2.6
Must complete the FAFSA or TASFA Application and submit SAR
Report or copy of completed TASFA.

Scholarship Instructions

The deadline for the 2026 scholarship application: April 14, 2026.
Applications after May will be considered on participant basis.
Only complete applications will be considered.
DO NOT LEAVE ANY ITEMS BLANK
Attach an unofficial high school transcript, and university/college
acceptance letter.
Must have completed the FAFSA/TASFA application and submit
SAR (Student Aid Report).
Write a 500-word essay explaining what career you want to pursue,
what you plan to accomplish during your time in university/college,
and how your life goals correlate to the major you want to study.
Record yourself doing the “Southside” to the song Southside by Lil
Keke, attach the video to the email, and post video on all social
media outlets with the hashtags
#tredayforever #scholar, tag @tredayofficial
